March 19 - Kasese

From my journal: Last night, I hardly slept at all. Junia and I were sharing a single bed and there was a riot right outside our window. We had breakfast and then left for service. Along the way to Kasese, we saw monkeys, elephants, impala, water buffalo and some deer things. I think they were kodo. Just afar off though. On Thursday, we are going on a safari thing. We reached our hotel in Kasese at around noon. We freshened up and then left for church. We took the wrong way twice. First we ended up at a mine and then we turned around and went completely the other way and ended up at a prison. Then we found the right road and got to church (an hour and a half late). We sang at the end of the service. It was so hot in there! I just about melted!!! After church, we went back to the hotel, had dinner and went for a walk. We bought water and Sharon bought a skirt. When we got back to the hotel, we all just sat in the hallway. Everyone watched The Patriot on Jonathan’s iPad and I just sat there cuz I was in a mood. Dad finally opened his door so I went in and talked to him for a while. That was nice.
