March 28 - Musee de Armee, Opera House & Notre Dame

From my journal: Today Dad stayed at the hotel. The rest of us went to Musee de Armee. It was pretty cool. Except that everyone was like motoring through so I couldn’t even look at stuff. So I was really frustrated about that. We then went to the Opera House and wasted 6 Euros to walk through it. Then we went to Notre Dame. Which was weird and crazy. Like all the candles and all their money making stuff. Then we rode the subway back to the hotel before leaving to go to a deacon’s house for dinner. That was good. We attempted to fellowship but they didn’t know much English and we don’t know French… But we sang together and that was cool! On the way back to the hotel, Bro Kim had the GPS and he like took us around and around a roundabout and then through a parking garage. Eventually we ended up at the Arc de Triumphe and that was pretty cool to see at night. And I got pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night too.

This I thought was cool. Like here in North America, something is old if it is having like it's 150 anniversary or like really old if its been around for 200 years. But Notre Dame was having its 850 year anniversary!!
