From my journal: Today is my 17th day away from
home. I’m ready to go home… But we get to go to Europe now. Abby is there :) I
am super happy that I get to see her. Today, we drove to Entebbe. It was so sad
saying goodbye to everyone. I almost cried. Bro Emmanuel came to the airport
with us. We stopped at a market in Kampala and shopped. I bought bracelets, a
keychain and a coin purse. After visiting the market, we continued on to
Entebbe, had dinner and went to the airport. We had to go through a security
check before entering the parking lot. We all got out of the bus, they waved
the girls through, checked the bus and checked the boys for guns. Kinda funny
actually. Moral of the story: If you wanna get something into the airport, send
it with the girls… They don’t get checked. Bro Kim cancelled all our kosher
meals. Which was awesome…
He was EXHAUSTED!!!! lol
