March 22 - Mityana

From my journal: Today we drove to Mityana. It was a pretty good drive. I am so sick of driving though!! I am so ready to go home and not have to drive 3 hours to get anywhere! When we got to the hotel, we pretty much left right away to go to a market. I bought two skirts. Only one of them fits though so I’ll give the other one to Lisa. I was gonna buy another skirt but I put it down on the table and Sharon snatched it up before I got the chance :( It was really funny though because we were shopping with Sam and he like fell in love with this one skirt and wanted someone to buy it and he was like holding it up and was like “isn’t it nice?” and we were all like maybe you should buy it Sam…. Lol. Then we went to see the church here that they are building. Right now it is just a concrete slab that they put a tent up on for services. Next door to the church is a deaf school and we went and visited there too. They gave us all sign names. Which was really cool! After dinner, we met these two kids from England. They are 19 and they are here for 4 months working at the deaf school and also at an orphanage. We all went and sat on the grass and on the wall and talked all evening. I had a pretty rough evening and Sam had to kinda calm me down… He is pretty amazing. Then we all went to bed. And Jazmin encountered a bug… She was running away from it and fell down the stairs and dislocated her elbow. Poor girl was in so much pain!! They had to go to Kampala to the International Hospital. I had a complete meltdown. Just cuz of like ambulances and hospitals and stuff. It brought back a lot of memories. And so I went and sat in Dad’s room and he calmed me down. I love my daddy!!!
